The ever popular Pritikin Contest has historically had the largest turnout of any contest on the calendar. Del Rey Yacht Club does a first class job in providing slips for all from out of the area and providing great hospitality for everyone. The contest course within Santa Monica Bay is subject to the "backwards" Davidson Current at this time of the year offering a challenging contest for all. The popular trophy awards dinner is held at the club on Saturday evening following the contest.
