The Captain A. A. Oakley

(Go straight to the results)

The Oakley is the northernmost contest in the SCCA series. Running out of the Channel Islands harbor near Oxnard, it gives skippers an opportunity to experience the ever-fickle seas of the Santa Barbara Channel. The contest is liable to serve up a test of anything from strong and elusive currents with teasing fog, to boring flat seas and sunny skies.  The Club is well known for its warm hospitality making the contest very popular with those who venture northward.
