The BCYC Invitational has become a very popular contest. Perhaps this is because of the weather. It is suspected that the weather gods must have relatives in Newport because we invariably have clear, warm, sunny skies for this event. However beware the current gods, especially in the vicinity of Huntington Beach Pier, as they sometimes seem to get carried away. Back at the docks, the club does a yeoman's job in providing slips and hospitality for visiting skippers.
